The Associate Degree in Microbiology provides students with fundamental knowledge and hands-on skills in microbiology, biotechnology, and laboratory techniques. Mission

The Associate Degree Programme of Microbiology aims to produce graduates with fundamental knowledge and technical skills along with ethical values to fulfil the need of laboratories in hospitals and healthcare research institutes.

Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs)

PEO-1: To produce graduates that will contribute to the field of Microbiology in the areas of designing, developing and providing solutions to improve current processes and development.

PEO-2: To produce graduates with technical skills having theoretical and practical knowledge of the instruments, techniques and methods with a strong ethical background.

Graduates will be able to design and develop solutions to the problems related to Microbiology by applying appropriate hands-on practising tools while keeping in mind safety factors for the environment & society.
