Dr. Jabeen Fayyaz is an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto and a Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician at The Hospital for Sick Children, with advanced qualifications in simulation and health professions education. She is internationally recognised for her expertise in simulation-based curriculum design, faculty development, interprofessional team training, and resuscitation research, serving as Medical Director of the SimKIDS Simulation Program.

Dr. Jabeen recently visited Ziauddin Medical College to explore a collaborative initiative focused on simulation-based learning. The purpose of the visit was to discuss innovative strategies for enhancing clinical education through the integration of high-fidelity simulation, structured skills training, and scenario-based learning modules.

This collaboration aims to strengthen students’ clinical competence, critical thinking, teamwork, and decision-making skills in a safe and controlled learning environment. The initiative reflects a shared commitment to advancing medical education standards and aligning teaching methodologies with contemporary competency-based curricula.
