The LOK SAHAITA Marathon 2025 is scheduled to take place in Sukkur, promoting health, resilience, and community engagement through sport and physical activity.

In this regard, the LOK SAHAITA team visited Ziauddin University, Sukkur Campus, where they met with Dr. Muhammad Usman Khan, Principal, Ziauddin College of Physical Therapy (ZCPT), ZU Sukkur Campus, along with the Additional Registrar, Mr. M. Hussain Khurasani. During the meeting, Dr. Muhammad Usman Khan assured the visiting team of Ziauddin University’s full support and professional services for the successful conduct of the Hope Run.

As part of this collaboration, Ziauddin University and Hospital will establish a dedicated medical camp at the event to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all participating athletes throughout the marathon on the event day.

Furthermore, on 18th December, a special training session for female athletes was conducted as part of the event’s preparatory activities. The session was led by Dr. Saiqa Jalil, Assistant Professor / Senior Physical Therapist, and Dr. Hafiza Adeena, Senior Lecturer / Physical Therapist. During this session, more than 20 female athletes received professional training focused on physical conditioning, injury prevention, and performance enhancement.
