The Department of Research, Faculty of Health Sciences, recently organized a one-day workshop titled “Turning Published Data into Decisions: A Systematic Review and Meta-analysis Approach,” bringing together undergraduate and postgraduate students, along with faculty members, for an engaging learning experience.

The workshop provided participants with hands-on training in systematic reviews, meta-analysis, literature searching, evidence synthesis, and the use of Rayyan and RevMan software for scientific research and manuscript development.  

An impactful Guest Speaker Session on Power BI and Data Analytics was organized by the College of Management Sciences at Ziauddin University on Saturday, 25 April 2026, at ZUFESTM, North Site. Reflecting the University’s commitment to innovation and industry-oriented learning, the engaging session provided participants with expert insights, collaborative discussions, and practical exposure to the evolving world of data analytics.

Career Connect 2026, organized by the Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences at Ziauddin University, Educational City Campus, brought together national and international pharmaceutical companies that interacted with our students for job interviews and internships.

The session was engaging, productive, and opened valuable opportunities for future pharmacists.

Students of Ziauddin University had an insightful industrial visit to GSK Pakistan, where they explored pharmaceutical manufacturing, safety practices, QMS, supply chain management, and operational excellence through interactive sessions and a facility tour.

Ziauddin University Boys Cricket Championship 2026, held on 9th and 10th May, brought together excitement, energy, and a strong spirit of competition.

Across two action filled days, players gave their best on the field and demonstrated teamwork, sportsmanship, and a true love for the game. It was a memorable celebration of cricket that reflected campus spirit and enthusiasm.

The Department of Community Dentistry at Ziauddin University organized a school outreach visit at Boat Basin School to promote oral health awareness among schoolchildren.

The activity included dental checkups, oral hygiene awareness sessions, and distribution of Colgate kits, while also providing practical learning exposure to BDS Batch 16 students. 

Graduation Week 2026 was a four day celebration of achievement, growth, and shared success. Each day brought together graduates, families, and faculty to acknowledge key milestones and celebrate the journey of the graduating class.

The week reflected moments of pride, connection, and gratitude as one chapter came to a close and a new journey began.

The Office of Alumni Engagement and Career Services organised Career Connect for the College of Pharmacy, where several renowned pharmaceutical companies participated to provide internships and career opportunities for graduating pharmacy students, along with lateral positions for alumni.

Ziauddin University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Project Management Unit – Balochistan Education Support Program, School Education Department (SED), Government of Balochistan, to enhance access to quality education opportunities.
Under the Female Teacher Education Scholarship Program (Four-Year B.Ed.), students from across Balochistan will pursue and complete their studies at Ziauddin University in Karachi.
This partnership reflects a shared commitment to educational empowerment, particularly in promoting female education, inclusion, and equal opportunities for aspiring educators across the province.
